Our physicians are board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and our physician assistants are board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the State of Ohio.
We are committed to providing quality patient care and support of our patients and will do our best to make sure that your hospital stay is as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions about the hospitalist program, please ask a staff member to assist you.
Your primary care doctor has entrusted our hospitalists to provide you with the best care during your hospital stay. We realize that a hospital admission is stressful and we will do our best to make sure that your hospital stay will be as comfortable as possible. Upon discharge, your medical care will be turned back over to your primary care physician who will receive a clinical report of your hospitalization from us.
What is a Hospitalist
Hospitalists are board-certified physicians who specialize in the treatment of hospital patients, including those that are critically ill. They are available at the hospital 24 hours a day and work directly with the nursing staff in providing personalized care and answering your questions.
Why Use a Hospitalist
- Many primary care physicians have elected to focus on their office practice and use hospitalist physicians to care for their patients who require hospitalization.
- When you are admitted to the hospital, your primary care doctor will transfer the management of your care to one of our hospitalist physicians.
- Our hospitalist will keep your primary care physician involved and informed of your condition and progress during the course of your hospital stay.
